DIY Laptop Case

Sewing

The do-it-yourself laptop case is a practical and cost-effective solution for protecting your valuable device. By creating your own case, you have the opportunity to customize it to your specific needs and preferences. This project requires minimal materials and basic sewing skills. Begin by selecting a durable fabric that will provide adequate protection against scratches and impacts. Measure and cut the fabric to fit your laptop's dimensions, leaving extra space for padding. Materials needed:

  • Pattern
  • 1 square yard of 2 different cotton fabrics (1 square yard each)
  • 1 square yard of quilt batting
  • 32 inch ribbon of choice, cut in half (two, 16 inch pieces of ribbon)
  • Sewing materials
  • Sewing machine
