How To Make a Fabric Pumpkin

Bring your home decor to life by making some really cool fabric pumpkins. These patchwork pumpkins aren’t only super simple to make but also quick. It’s fall, let’s make our home in the season. We all know pumpkins signify this season and will be perfect as home decor for the upcoming Halloween. Trust me, you will have a lot of fun making these pumpkins. Let’s begin!

Materials needed: 

  • 5 pieces of 6x3 inch quilting cotton
  • a 5" by 10 inch piece of cream colored muslin, burlap, or cream colored cotton solid
  • some poly-fill
  • coordinating sewing thread and some thicker thread, e.g. basting thread
  • sewing machine, scissors, pins or sewing clips
