This easy garland is made from mini wooden embroidery hoops and decorated with paper flowers and yarn.

Materials Needed

  • 4″ Wooden Embroidery Hoops
  • I Love This Cotton Yarn
  • White Paper Flowers
  • Hot Glue Gun + Gluesticks

Step 1: Remove the inner circle from the embroidery hoop. The plain hoop is the one we’ll use. Set the hoop with the metal fastener aside to use for something else.

Step 2: Cut about twenty pieces of yarn that are each 8-10 inches long. Fold them in half and attach them to the hoop using a lark’s head knot, as shown in the photo below.

Step 3: Add flowers! I bought a package of pre-made paper flowers, but you could cut them using your Silhouette machine if you prefer using this rolled paper flower tutorial.

Use hot glue to attach the flowers to the wreath. For more visual interest, it helps to layer several flowers in different sizes on top of each other.

The last step is super easy… just string all of your mini hoop wreaths together and hang them up! I had to tie a knot on each one to keep them evenly spaced and facing the same direction.
