How To Make A Swing Out Storage Tower
It`s a pity but we haven`t had with you any recycling projects for a long time and today I`m happy to share with you a new one. We need a few tuna cans for this project because we`re going to make a swing out storage tower. This tower will be perfect if you`re a sewer, so you can keep here all small details. Your husband will be also glad to have it in a garage to store small things. Practically every week we use can, but all of them go to the bin. Let`s find a solution how to use them.
Things you need:
- 4 tuna cans* and 4 lids (plus one additional lid if you want a cover on top).
- 1 rigid plastic straw
- 1 wide smoothie straw (outer sections)
- Can opener
- Hot glue or something more permanent like gorilla glue or E6000 industrial strength glue
- White glue
- White chalk
- Scissors
- Scrap paper or the back of window envelopes to print labels. If you already have some chalk labels on-hand, you can use those instead.
- Hacksaw or bandsaw
- 3/4" black iron pipe
- 2 black iron flanges
