  • 1 fat quarter or quarter yard of quilting cotton for the exterior
  • 1 fat quarter or quarter yard of quilting cotton for the interior
  • a 16’’ x 14 1/2’’ piece of foam stabilizer, quilt batting, or fusible fleece
  • 1 handbag zipper 9’’ or longer
  • fabric pen or marker
  • A safety pin for turning
