How to Make a Travel Sewing Kit

A travel sewing kit is an essential item for anyone on the go. It contains all the necessary tools and materials needed for quick and easy repairs while traveling. From a small rip in clothing to a loose button, having a travel sewing kit on hand allows you to quickly fix any wardrobe mishaps and avoid the frustration of dealing with a wardrobe malfunction. Additionally, a travel sewing kit can also come in handy for making minor adjustments to garments, such as hemming pants or taking in a shirt.

Materials needed:

  • Remnants or 3 fat quarters in different coordinating colors
  • 3″ square of felt
  • 3″ square of cotton batting
  • Embroidery Floss
