Materials:

  • Size 4 medium-weight yarn
  • Size G hook
For the face, make 2

Working in continuous rounds,

Round 1: make 6 sc in a magic ring
Round 2: 2 sc in every stitch
Round 3: *2 sc in the first stitch, 1 sc in the next stitch*
Round 4 * 2 sc in the first stitch, 1 sc in the next 2 stitches*

Round 5: sc evenly around, finish off the first one. You don't have to finish off the second one.

It may be easier to embroider the face before joining the two halves of the face together.

Find the bottom four stitches on the two halves to leave open for the arms and legs.

With the wrong side together, have the back of the head facing you. Once you identify the 4 stitches to leave open, * in the next stitch, sc through both halves of the head, ch 3, slip stitch back into the sc* repeat around until you reach the 4 open stitches, stuff lightly before proceeding on to the next part.

Made the arms and legs

Arm #1: sc though both halves in first of the four stitches, ch 11, 3 sc in the second chain from the hook * 3 sc in each chain* sc into the SIDE of sc from the beginning of row.

Leg #1: sc though both halves in the second of the four stitches, ch 19, 3 sc in the second chain from the hook * 3 sc in each chain* sc into the SIDE of sc from the beginning of row.

Leg #2: sc though both halves in the third of the four stitches, ch 19, 3 sc in the second chain from the hook * 3 sc in each chain* sc into the SIDE of sc from the beginning of row.

Arm #2: sc though both halves in fourth of the four stitches, ch 11, 3 sc in the second chain from the hook * 3 sc in each chain* slip stitch into the SIDE of sc from the beginning of row.
