How to Sew a DIY Bucket Bag

Bucket bags are a great way to add interest and function to any outfit. They’re also a great way to use up any extra fabric you have lying around. This tutorial will show you how to sew a DIY bucket bag using easy techniques. So, get some beautiful fabric and let’s get started!

Materials needed:

  • Pattern Piece 
  • 1/2 yd main outer fabric and accent Fabric
  • 1/2 yd lining fabric
  • 1/2 yd fusible fleece like Pellon 987F
  • 8 3/8″ grommets
  • 30″ of 1/4″ cord
  • 29″ x 4 of any fabric
  • 4 x WOF of any fabric
  • 2 1″ D Rings
  • 1 triglide
