Scrap Key Fob

Sewing

Key fobs are definitely great for holding your keys and other little essentials. These are perfect and colorful once you find that amazing fabric to fit your style. You can also make this as a gift for your loved ones this season. You can make as many as you like as this is super quick and easy to make. So friends, let’s make some scrap key fobs.

Materials needed:

  • Basic sewing supplies (Sewing machine, rotary cutter, cutting mat, scissors, iron, ironing board, etc.)
  • Fabric - One 3" x 6.5" piece & one 3" x 4.5" pieces for the accent
  • Batting - One 1" x 10" piece
  • (Optional) Stabilizer / Interface - Use one 1" x 10" piece to create a more stiff key fob
  • Hardware - Use any sort of metal key ring
  • Needle for burying threads
  • 90/14 needle for your sewing machine
  • 50 Weight Cotton Thread for your sewing machine
  • Clips for holding fabrics together
