Simple Pillowcase Dress

Pillowcase dresses are just super fun to make as they are light, airy and great for the summer and spring. They’re perfect for kids and even adults. Materials needed:

  • fabric – 2 pieces of 100% woven cotton
  • optional: contrasting fabric for the band
  • 1/2″ single fold bias tape
  • ribbon
  • matching thread
  • scissors (or rotary cutter and a cutting mat)
  • ruler or measuring tape
  • iron and ironing board
  • sewing clips or pins
  • sewing machine
