DIY Painted Picture Frame
One of the easiest and cheapest items you can find at a thrift store are old frames. If you buy a bunch of them, it can make creating a gallery nice and simple—not to mention affordable. So avoid store bought frames that can be expensive and just roll up your sleeves instead! If you’re willing to do a little bit of work, you can easily update the look and feel of some of the more traditional looking frames.
Follow this tutorial exactly to get the look of our frame, or improvise to create your own unique look! This project doesn’t need too many specialty supplies, but one thing you shouldn’t skimp on is painter’s tape. Get a good quality tape that will form a nice seal, so after you paint, you can pull it up, and it will leave a nice clean line.
