How to Make a Bucket Hat

As the warmer seasons are here and summer is almost upon us, it is definitely time to think about how to protect our faces from the direct sunlight. As our kids love to play outdoors in the spring and summer, they definitely will be needing some bucket hats. That’s why today we are going to learn how to make a bucket hat that will definitely come in handy.

Materials needed:

• fabric – 2 coordinating pieces of 100% tightly woven cotton (one main, one lining)
• matching thread
• the free bucket hat pattern
• scissors (or rotary cutter and a cutting mat)
• ruler or measuring tape
• iron and ironing board
• sewing clips or pins
• sewing machine
