Make Macrame Coasters

Macrame

It’s been a while we did some macrame craft, so today I decided to share this one with you all. Today we are going to make some macrame coasters. Coasters are perfect for the home as they help protect table surfaces from scratches and much more. These lovely macrame coasters also provide the house a very beautiful and warm look. Let’s get started.

Materials needed:

  • Around 20 meters (22 yd) of 2.5mm (0.1″) single strand macrame cord
  • Scissors
  • Tape measure or ruler
  • Comb or pet brush to brush out the fringe
  • Optional (useful to have): Macrame board, styrofoam board, or paperweight – something to hold your piece when you’re knotting
