DIY 10-Pocket Purse Organizer

Hi friends. You know handmade is always classy. Then, let's make this 10-pocket Purse organizer ourselves as we follow the tutorial below to make this and be better organized both in the home and office. There are 10 different pockets in this great purse, making your life a lot more comfortable. Use the tutorial I shared below, so you can use it to your best advantage and DIY!

Materials needed:

  • Fabrics
  • ¼ yard of 44″+ wide polyester mesh for the lower exterior pocket panels
  • ½ yard of 20”+ wide fusible foam
  • ¼ yard or scrap of 45”+ fusible fleece
  • 2 yards (one package) of bias binding for the pockets
  • FIVE double cap rivets
  • Metal snap
  • Cutting and setting tools for double cap rivets
  • Rubberized fashion grommets
  • Snap pliers
  • Jeans button
  • ONE 16”+ zipper (it will be cut to size)
  • ½ yard if ⅝” wide grosgrain ribbon or similar in a color to match your binding
  • ¼ yard of thin leather thong or similar
  • All-purpose thread to match fabric, binding, and ribbon
  • Heavy thread or floss to hand stitch label in place
  • See-through ruler
  • Fabric pen or pencil
  • Seam gauge
  • Seam ripper
  • Scissors or rotary cutter and mat
  • Small sharp and pointed scissors to cut holes for the grommets
  • Craft scissors for cutting the zipper
  • Iron and ironing board
  • Pressing cloth for working with the laminate
  • Straight pins plus clips for working with the laminate and the thicker layers
  • Hand sewing needle
  • Small hammer to set rivets
  • Heavy metal, stone or wooden block to use as a cutting and hammering surface
