Use Drinking Straws to Make Drink Coasters

Recycling

I usually use drinking straws for serving drinks during parties. I must say that I have a full pack of them in one of my kitchen drawers. Now I really try to be eco-friendly and avoid plastic that`s why I have decided to get rid of this pack. Throwing it away is a silly idea, so I will try to reuse them and make drink coasters. Let`s follow this nice tutorial together.

Things you need:

  • Drinking straws 5/16″, 30 pcs. *
  • Hot Glue Gun and sticks
  • Thick cardboard (for making templates)
  • Scissors
  • Tweezers (optional but handy to have)
