Make a Paper Bag Skirt

I always love sharing super easy tutorials and when I saw this one I just knew that I had to share it with you all. If you are new to the world of sewing, you should definitely try your hands on this. Today we’re going to make this paper bag skirt that will be perfect for your girls and super quick to make. You can make them in different colors and fabrics and I’m sure your girls will be delighted to have a complete wardrobe for the summer.

Materials needed:

  • 2 strips of fabric of same type 
  • 1 long strip for the waistband 
  • elastic
  • scissors
  • ruler
  • measuring tape
  • fabric marker
  • pins
  • sewing machine
  • matching thread
  • pressing iron
  • safety pin
  • bias tape – optional, to finish the waist seam
  • decorative ribbon for the hem – optional too
