DIY Sisal Rope Ottoman From a Milk Crate

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing amazing today. Let’s DIY the sisal rope ottoman from a milk crate. Yeah, today we are going to put that milk crate to good use. This ottoman is perfect as it helps in storing house objects and also serves the purpose of supporting your legs and much more. Let’s begin the process of making this beautiful craft.

Materials needed:

  • Three 50ft sisal rope packs
  • Plastic milk crate with “filing ledges” inside for wood to rest on
  • Glue gun + LOTS of glue sticks
  • Staple gun + staples
  • Fabric 
  • 1/4 to 1/2″ thick plywood, cut to fit inside the lip of the crate
  • 1″ thick regular density cushion foam 
  • Fabric Scissors
  • Ribbon
  • Optional: duct tape
