Easy Upcycled Denim Feathers

Have you got a bunch of jeans lying around? I wear jeans a lot and most of them tear but I keep stacking them. I find it hard to let go of old things.Well, I’ve discovered that making things out of old clothes is very fulfilling. It’s interesting to find out that feathers can be made out of jeans!

Materials needed:

• Old denim, preferably in a couple different colors
• Heavy string or twine – like cotton baker’s twine
• Pins
• Seam ripper
• Scissors or rotary cutter & ruler
• Rubber glove (not vinyl)
• Sewing Machine
