How To Make A Nice Lamp From Your Old Books

I have already published a few ideas how you can recycle your old books. Today I`m going to share one more. This is a nice lamp to create. It looks like a piece of furniture from the Middle Ages, so make sure that this lamp will fit your decor. For this diy you`ll need not only one book, but a few. Please, choose the books, you are not going to read any more. Let`s get started.

Things you need:

  • old hardbacks, about 8
  • lamp kit
  • lamp shade
  • spray paint
  • drill
  • 1/2" drill bit
  • razor blade or box cutter
  • 1-1/4" screws
  • 2" screws
  • screwdriver
