Recycled Plastic Bottle Planters

These super simple recycled plastic bottle planters are a fun and easy way to do your part for the environment while also sprucing up your home or garden. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but these planters also provide a significant opportunity to reduce plastic waste by repurposing what would otherwise be discarded. By utilizing materials that are readily available at home, such as plastic bottles, we can create sustainable and eco-friendly alternatives to traditional planters.

Materials needed:

• Empty Plastic Bottle
• Masking Tape
• Googly Eyes
• Fine Sandpaper 
• Recycled Buttons or other decorations
• Glue Stick or Hot Glue (low setting)
• Plant and Soil
• Aquarium Gravel to assist with drainage
• Acrylic Paint and/or Spray Paint for Plastic
• In Green, Blue or White (depending on craft)
• Paint Brush
• Chalk Marker or Permanent Marker in black (and pink for Peek-a-Boo Cat)
• Utility Knife and Scissors
• Glue
