It appears you make strips from your t shirt then the crochet is simple single crochet. As you work it into a circle you single crochet from the top round to the one below. Iam not sure but it appears the hook is a H or possibly a J. Iam just guessing from looking at the picture. I made a small oval rug using t shirts but silly me did it the hard way as I braided the material then hand sewed it as I did the rounds. Thinking I need to check my t collection give this a try.
