How To Make A Denim DIY Sunglasses Case
There's nothing like a good pair of sunglasses to brighten up your day, but who wants to carry around a bulky case? With a little bit of DIY know-how, you can make your own sunglasses case out of denim that's both stylish and functional! First, you'll need to gather some basic supplies: a pair of sunglasses, scissors, an iron and a piece of denim fabric. Now it's time to get started!
Materials needed:
- Old jeans – To be more precise you want the front right pocket on a pair of jeans. The pocket with the inner coin pocket in it.
- Lining Fabric – You will need no more than a quarter yard. You can choose the fabric to suit the recipient. The lining fabric is a great way to jazz up the sunglasses case by adding some color.
- Very thin wadding/batting
- Cotton Thread
- Sewing Machine with heavy-duty denim needle – however, if you don’t have a sewing machine this project is easily sewn by hand. It will just take a little longer.
- Scissors or rotary cutter, pins, pen, round cup/bowl.
