Lantern With Recyclables

Hello my craft friends! Look at this super creative craft we have before us today. I am just in love with it. Although this might not work like a real lantern but it definitely brightens up the environment, don’t you think? Absolutely! You can make this lantern with your recyclables and bring life to old pieces. So, let’s make this gorgeous lantern that will make our home look much different and bring it into better light.

Materials needed:

  • Empty clear plastic bottle 
  • Two lids
  • Take out container (or similar)
  • Dip container
  • Corrugated cardboard
  • LED string lights
  • Spray paint (green and silver)
  • Craft knife
  • Cutting mat
  • Scissors
  • Glue (hot glue or stronger plastic-friendly glue)
  • Packing tape
  • Wire
  • Drill and drill bit
