Spring Flower Wreath From Egg Carton
Spring is actually round the corner and we are all looking forward to enjoy warm days, green leaves and beautiful flowers, but now we can make spring inside our home.
This project is quite easy and it`s a good way to spend time with the kids crafting flowers. It’s also a great reminder that beautiful craft supplies can be found in the trash and the recycling bin.
Let`s create the spring mood together!
Things you need:
- 1 egg carton
- selection of acrylic paints
- paint brush
- scissors
- hot glue gun
- large embroidery hoop
- string
- beads and pom poms
Step 1.
Deconstruct the egg carton. Each little egg holder will become a flower.
Step 2.
Cut the flowers of any shape you like and keep all little scrap pieces - they are future leaves.
Step 3.
Have fun painting colourful flowers and leaves, then set them aside to dry.
Step 4.
When flowers are dry, adhere the beads, pom poms and little bits of painted egg cartons inside the flowers with the hot glue gun.
Step 5.
Plan out where you want the flowers to be and then glue them in the right place.
Step 6.
Finish your work by gluing little leaves into any little holes.
