Christmas Tree Softie

What is Christmas without those Christmas trees? Absolutely nothing! This Christmas tree softy we are going to make today is a great way to add dimension and color to your overall home decor. This will also make an amazing toy for a toddler or a baby. You can also decorate your Christmas trees with stars or even buttons. But if you will be using this as a toy for a baby then I will advise using just embroidery.

Materials needed:

• 1/4 yard green fleece (Fleece fabric is used throughout; woven cotton could also be used but would be best with added interfacing)
• Tiny brown scraps for the stump
• Coordinating thread
• Sewing machine
• Hand sewing needle
• Scissors
• Poly-fill or other stuffing
• Embroidery floss, ric-rac, or other embellishments
