DIY The Scooter Buddy

Do your kids like to move around on their scooters? Well, if they do then they will really appreciate having a scooter buddy. This is a lovely pouch-like, purse-like accessory that will be great for holding little essentials. Your child will feel very comfortable and well prepared for any journey he or she is going to embark on.

Materials needed:

• Heavy weight fabric (i.e. denim, cord, duck/canvas) for outer back piece: Cut 8”(w) x 14”(l)
• Medium weight fabric (i.e. quilting cotton) for outer front pieces: Cut 8”(w) x 17”(l) and 5”(w) x 8”(l)
• Medium weight fabric (i.e. quilting cotton) for lining & pocket (can be same as outer front piece): Cut 8”(w) x 19”(l) 
• Medium or heavy weight adhesive (iron-on) interfacing: Cut 8”(w) x 12”(l)
• 1” wide Velcro (3 x 1 1/2” pieces) or snaps if preferred
• 7” zipper
• 1/4” elastic: cut 8”(l) piece
