DIY The Birthday Gnome

Knitting & Crocheting

Even if you don’t have a birthday party coming up you will agree with me that this gnome is just so cute to not try your hands on. Just look at how cute they are with those yummy cakes which you could also add to them. You can also add a balloon to make that birthday party just super fun and colorful. Let’s get started!

Materials needed:

  • Worsted weight yarn (tan, white, yellow, red, green, brown, purple)
  • 4.0 mm hook
  • Safety eyes (6mm, or to your preference)
  • Needle for sewing
  • Polyester or other stuffing
  • Stitch marker, safety pin, or small piece of yarn to count rounds
  • Felt
  • Craft wire or craft dowel
  • Pompom
  • Scissors
  • Glue
