Fantastic Wall Pockets From Old Jeans

A tutorial for making some handy hanging pockets for your craft room, by repurposing your old jeans. With most pairs of jeans, there are actually five pockets. Two on the back of the jeans, two at the front. Then, the fifth pocket is the tiny one inside the front right pocket.

One of my favorite things to upcycle is denim. When I need some hanging storage for the pegboard in my craft room, I instantly thought of jeans pockets. Even though I have used them in for craft storage, I think these hanging pockets would also work well in a kitchen and could be used as cutlery holders. They can easily be unhooked from the pegboard and carried around.

Make this awesome denim pocket organizer from old jeans. It looks fantastic in kids or teenage rooms and is a really useful storage place for all their bits and pieces. All you need is some old jeans needle and thread scissors and a branch to hang it from. It is quicker made on a sewing machine but can also be hand sewn, I did a bit of both. Would look great in a teen bedroom or a home office.
