How To Make Patchwork Denim Placemats

We all wear denim, denim is just very comfy and sturdy. It’s perfect for every day but sometimes we have a lot of old denim lying around the house and can make a mess. If you have those jeans lying around, why don’t you put them to good use. Today we are going to learn how to make a patchwork denim placemat. These placemats will be great as they are sturdy and will put those jeans to good use.

Materials needed:

  • Scraps of denim from old jeans
  • Scrap fabric for the back of the denim placemats
  • Quilters equilateral triangle ruler
  • Paper for templates
  • Needle and thread in denim blue
  • Sewing pins
  • Rotary cutter and mat
  • Double-sided sticky tape
  • Iron and ironing board
