DIY Rope Plate Chargers

Have you ever seen rope charger plates used in a table setting before? They look amazing! They add depth to your tablescape, interest and texture! If you’ve ever seen some at Pottery Barn, they can run upwards of $50 per charger! So, I thought that I would go the DIY route at a fraction of the cost. Whether it’s hosting for the holidays or just having a dinner party, adding a little interest to your table is simple to do. Add some texture to your table with these beautiful and easy to do rope plate chargers.

The chargers fit into my coastal theme perfectly and were really easy to make but did take a little time. In my mind they are worth it though since I will be able to use them for other table settings and I was not able to find them to buy anywhere else. The process got quicker as I went along and were a fun and simple project to make while watching TV.

For this project you will need:

⅜ inch rope (200 ft to make 6 chargers)

Drop cloth (or other fabric for bottom)

Hot glue gun and glue sticks

Scissors

Tape Measure/Ruler

Charger Template
