Crepe Paper Rose
Today I’d like to share with you a simple project of how to make romantic and elegant crepe paper roses. These handcrafted beauties are very long lasting and wonderful for home decorating, in paper flower arrangements and wedding décor. Crepe paper rose buds are a great beginner’s flower, especially if you are looking for an easy homemade gift for a loved one. You can create the roses in a rainbow of colors, possibilities are endless, you can also print out the templates, to make cutting the petals and leaves as easy as possible.
Paper rose craft never gets old. Whether you’re using cardstock, craft paper, tissue paper, crepe paper, mulberry paper or any kind of paper; paper roses turn out beautiful! These DIY crepe paper roses were my first attempt in making roses from crepe papers and I’m really happy with the outcome. When it comes to making paper flowers, I find crepe paper roses very attractive. Curling the petal cutouts is easier when working with crepe papers. This tutorial comes with a free template for the rose pattern. Grab some crepe papers, print out the template and get crafty! Keeping them in a wicker basket and placed them on my dinning table totally loving these roses!
