Well, the pattern we have today is quite different and it’s to add some variety to your coasters. Variety is indeed the spice of life.   • Macrame cord 
  • Sharp scissors
  • ½ inch dowel (or stick) or even a piece of sturdy cardboard or foot-long ruler, etc
