DIY Platform Bed With Storage

Organization

Do your kids have their toys lying all over the house? Maybe you bumped into a couple of Lego blocks on the floor? Yeah, that might not be the most fun feeling. Well, if you love organization in your home and you want a safer environment for everyone then today’s DIY will be perfect for you and your family. You should be able to make a platform bed with storage after following the tutorial below. Think it’s hard? Don’t worry, your kids will definitely love this idea of yours.

Materials needed:

  • two IKEA TROFAST 37 x 17 storage shelves
  • TROFAST bins in colors and sizes of your choice
  • one 48 x 96 inch pine plywood
  • one 12 ft. 2 x 4
  • one 96 x 48 melamine (white) board
  • four 1 1/4 inch binding crews 
  • twelve 2 inch wood screws
  • Kreg Jig
  • 1 1/4 inch Kreg screws
  • two rock climbing holds
  • one twin mattress
  • Paint
