DIY Reusable Sponge

Hi friends! Today's exploit is going to be a DIY reusable sponge! The most interesting thing is that we have a zero-waste sewing tutorial at our disposal. It makes easy work of this highly useful household item that you will use and use and use...thereby saving some seriously needed money!

Materials needed:

  • Two 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ rectangles of fabric. (I recommend polyester blends for the rough use)
  • Two 3 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ rectangles of heavy-weight tulle
  • Stuffing (The kind you would use for a pillow)
  • Sewing Machine
  • Fabric scissors 
  • Paper scissors
