DIY Stand Up Slide Down Pencil and Tool Pouch

I never knew I could make things like this stand up pencil and tool pouch all by myself until I luckily got it as a gift, wanted to buy such but was informed that I could do it myself by following the free tutorial. I checked it out, followed the instructions and became the proud owner of my own special gift item!

Materials needed:

• cotton fabric 
• 1/4 yard of fabric for the lining
• 1/2 yard of medium weight fusible interfacing 
• small pieces of foam stabilizer
• 1/2 (one side) of a 20’’ long YKK size 4.5 handbag zipper along with the zipper pull
